Flying Fish?

I dont see why not, you can keep anything providing the tank is large enough and you can supply the right food.

The tank would have to be very tall though and only half filled with water so that when they jumped they wouldnt smash themselves into the hood, might have to have some kind of netting curtains around the sides too to stop them from "flying" into the tank sides and hurting themselves.

CRIMSONTSAVO, WOW flying fish, when in MEXICO I use to see them on the water, they would jump out an GULIDE/FLY for about 40-50 ' I think you need a BIG-BIG TANK. they are GOOD EATING!

P.S. looking for something interesting try (ROOSTERFISH)

I don't think that you could keep flying fish in the home aquarium unless you had a 50' tank. these fish could grow to 18" and canglide for about 50'. I don't think it would be practical. also, you would have great problems trying to find a supplyer

Actually, what I was thinking........

Make a mini ocean.
Indoors like an in ground pool, only filled with salt water.
(always aiming for the stars,lol.)

Ive been planning this for a looong time, one salt water and one freshwater.
(money money,lol)

That way I can scuba dive at home, lol.I know it's possible...

I was hoping someone here knew where you could buy flying fish.
(not now cause` I dont have the proper enclosures yet.)
