Fluval U Series

hai y'all, just got a fluval u series U2 to be exact for my 100 litre kribensis breeding tank, i setting the mode to B on the dial as this way it wont syck in fry as easily (well, so they say at my LFS) anyhow does any one use the new ones and like or recommend them, i took a look at the video review of the fluval u series and it looks pretty sweet

stop bumping full stop! theres no need, people will read what they want to read not whats pushed in there faces, threads do.. believe it or not ,loose attraction sometimes, they can spring back to life again tho all by them selves without the need of constant and excessive bumps, this is only really tolerated within emergencies and to a point in sales, you seem to have a constant stream of threads going at any given time, other people want answers to Q`s too,so calm down

I think your arogance is starting to get to people and basically your annoying by the sounds of it alot of people, you ever thought this is why noone is answering your questions?

Wooh no need for the personal attack we are all nice really . Fluval U series are good filters wouldn't say they were great I don't really like how they are obsessed with chucking carbon into every fluval product. I would remove the carbon sponges and replace with any coarse sponge so that you have activated carbon pads laying around or leave the carbon in there they will seed bacteria like normal sponges but its a bit of a waste.

Iv got the U3 filter in my new tank set up seems ok quiet, different options with flow pumps out loads of small bubbles

I've been using a U1 filter for a few months now, very very quiet, and to help the flow rate even more I made a DIY spraybar as I use it in a betta tank. It's a great filter, and very easy to clean as you don't need to take the whole thing out of the tank when you want to give the media a quick rinse in old water to get the rubbish out.

No bad points to mention at all from me!
