Does anyone have any experience with fluval duo deep tnaks? As i saw a good deal on one earlier.

The 1200 duo deep was down to £195.99 in lfs, making it the £10 cheaper than the juwel 180 that i was looking at! I dont need a stand, just the tank ?

Cant deicde between teh juwel or fluval!! Probably gonna be for cichlids if that helps?

I have a small Fluval tank and also a Juwel Rio tank. I have to say you can definately see and feel the quality difference between a Juwel and the Fluval tanks. Imo i would go with the Juwel as you can get it in a vairety of colours to match decor. Aswell as that i personally just prefer the build quality, but at the end of the day, its your choice.

I have a duo, cant remember which one though, i think its the 1000.
Ive had it at least a year now. I love this tank and also have a juwel rio 450 which i love as well. The downside to both of them is the fiters they come with. The duo comes with a lot of things you dont really need and pay through the nose for. I think i paid £180 for it and wasnt really that impressed as i had to go get another filter for it as it was 39 inches long and had a fluval 3+ with it. You get the heater but you also get one with the juwel and i didnt get a stand with mine. Do they make stands for them?

The rio ive found also needed another filter but the media in the juwel i like so i kept it running. The problem with juwel is customer care - there isnt any. If anything goes wrong outside your year warranty then youre on your own. The light systems tend to break down after a year and are expensive to buy.

I think if i went to get another tank today i would get an all glass one and buy what i needed seperately.

As above though, the choice is personal.

I wouldnt neccesarily say juwels are better quality then fluvals i had a fluval duo deep 600 and was thinking of buying a juwel to replace it but then i saw a rena tank and thought wow thats good build quality. however theyre very expensive, compared to a juwel lol. I would probably go for the fluval its cheaper and easier to cut the lid to accomadate filter bits, skimmers etc...
