Hi everyone,

I just wanted to add some pictures showing the progress I have made, this site has been so very helpfull and without the help I have had from various members my tank would probably be in a bit of a mess!

I have only just added plants today and am a novice with plants so still have a lot to learn, I also have a lot more to do and add to the tank in the near future. A second powerhead is on its way in the post which should help with the water circulation so ferts and co2 can get distributed evenly round the tank.

Comments or advice welcome :good:

Looking good mate! I have a similar piece of bogwood. The substrate looks excellent.

Not a lover of picture backgrounds but I have to say that your's is a cracking effect. Wonderful how the background gives a feel of real depth mixed with the real piece in front. 4 yes's :good:

Thanks for all the nice comments :)

I bought 2 Electric Blue Rams today and after 3 hours of adding water slowly to their bag they are now in the tank, I will get some photos up later once they settle in and I can turn the lights on.

Woohoo! The electrics are great, I'm sure you will be very pleased with them!

I am very happy with them, they are very small at the moment and I took a quick photo but they seem to go and hide whenever I get the camera near the tank. They have only gone near the big cave once so fingers crossed they will make it their home shortly, and hopefully I can get a better picture of the both of them once they feel more confident in the tank. (I had to do a video and then pause and save an image so this is why picture such poor quality)

Also I am surprised that the little plant cutting (twig) at the front has taken well and now standing tall after looking rather droopy yesterday! and I have my second powerhead in the tank now so the circulation is good as far as I can tell.

Lovely tank, what is the substrate??

I've got natural gravel and not that keen on it, fancy a change and that looks ideal!!
