It arrived today Next question is what media to add to the sponge baskets. I will be keeping cichlids but not sure exactly what yet. The tank is 350 ltrs if that matters. Any help would be great

You can add sponge to the trays (but this really slows the flow with all that sponge) or add some ceramic rings (usually a few quid a box) to the trays its up to you, the ceramic would be my preference (and what I used to use in my FX5 trays).

im confused, i wont be adding more sponge, are you saying you removed your sponge and only used ceramic rings? What do the ceramic rings do? sorry i dont know much about this

No I used the sponge that was already in it around the sides, but also added sponges to the trays.

Ceramic media is things like bio rings/balls like: http/www.warehouse-aquatics.co.uk/index.php?p=product&products_id=4407&cid=1
and thats just an example, plenty of suppliers of various ceramics.
