Change of tatics. Thinking of working round 5 galaxy rasboras. Does anyone have any ideas on another pair of fish to add? Is there something to give the bottom of the tank interest. I was interested in keeping tiger shrimps but my fiancee isn't keen on the idea of shrimps, so any other idea is greatfully recieved.

There isn't really any bottom fish you can have in it.. maybe an Oto or two? But I think they do better in larger tanks and schools.. shrimp really are the only option that comes to mind.

Go for 6 galaxies, it's surprising how much difference one can make I can just imagine it with bogwood, Java moss, Anubias...

Another option for the bottom/to add other interest would be to get a few nerite snails.

As for shrimp there are loads... to save typing the whole list, check this out --> http/www.planetinverts.com/
If you look down the left hand column you'll see lots of species of shrimp and snails that would be suitable.
