Just thought I'd add my opinion to this as well. I have had an Edge for about 6 months now, with a female Betta, 2 guppies and a few shrimp. Whilst it looks ok, maintaining it is horrid, its difficult to keep the gravel clean due to the small opening in top, and growing plants is very difficult with the original halogen lights. Another factor to add to that is the amount of condensation that builds up in the hood, which if not kept tidy, spreads over to the filter and you get bacteria growing, as well as your halogen lights stop working because of too much condensation.
I just literally just bought a new tank this afternoon (Aqua Qube 40) as they are much better in my opinion, my edge will likely now be a planted tank when I get some LED lights for it, maybe with a few shrimp or something, low maintenance
