Fluval E 50 Heater Help

Ive just recieved the heater yesterday and i plugged it in, my tank was about 24/25 degrees and is now at 23 and the "screen" is flashing blue and saying its 23 degrees.
HELP!?

what have you set the temp at?

i was told to set the temp 1 degree higher and it seemed to do the trick.

I pushed the red "toggle" and it says 27 degrees

No should it be? and no it is second hand

The VueTech E range heaters are a good heater. Basically if you set the heater to 27, it lets you know if it is too hot or too cold. Over something like one degree it will turn blue for too cold and red for too hot. Over a few degrees and it flashes too. It should heat the tank as required though, so the fact that the temp has gone down is strange.

How big is the tank? The E50 will supply heat for up to 60 Litre tanks.

Is the room cold?

tanks 54L and rooms not that cold, the original heater was working fine
Just seen that it says it should be near a flow of water so shall move it
