Help.
I am trying to fit the Aquastop but it won't go and is giving resistance
I don't want it to snap what can i do.

Take it back and get a reliable filter.

No really. I had one of these and it lasted an entire two years before it failed on the seal and started leaking water everywhere for me. I have no such problem with any of my eheims.

Alternatively, rub the aquastop and hole with some vaseline or KY jelly. Either of those should lube it up nicely.
