So best to let it die then as I dont have the lighting to support an anemone, or take to the LFS

Seffie the tank that is now hers is the 90lt which is already running but she is going to revamp it as it is looking a little bare, and I will make sure she starts a thread of her own.

anyway update to mine... been testing all week and I think I am now through my cycle stats being

PH 8.2
NO3 <5
NO2 0.1
Cal 450
amonia 0.001
Salt 1.025 @ 27 Deg

So I think I will be getting some stock today.

Gonna start with the clean up crew of a couple of shrimps (not sure which type till I see which LFS I go)
and if I feel brave enough may add a couple of clown (or I might wait for those to be on the safe side of the cycle)

Seffie thank you for that I am presuming we need to let the little critters build up a bit more before the shrimp

I added my shrimp about 3-4 weeks after my turbo snails and hermits.

I looked at it this way, with nothing living in the tank the shrimp had nothing to clean up, snails and hermits graze on algae (well mine do) so they don't need anything producing waste to eat.

That said my shrimp seem to seldom clean and are VERY active when they see me coming with food
