Fluval 106 Filter Media

mines got the bog standard media that comes with the fluval 106

is it worth changing to "better" media?

if so any recommendations? iv seen a few posts on here about aqua balls or something?

It will work just fine IMO. But if I was you I would buy a roll of filter floss and add it to the final stage of the filter compartments. My fluval 206 wasn't verry good at removing small partials from the water untill I added lots of floss.

Ive put filter wool at the bottom of all 3 compartments on my Fluval 304's to catch all the poop, etc and all
