No. Nothing about cats. I just need to identify this lovely bit of moss in my favourite tank.
I've completely forgotten what it is but it's simply the most striking plant in the tank.
The fish carry out frenzied mating rituals in it every morning and the shrimp spend hours grazing in it, probably eating the fish eggs

Cats ain't worth reading about anyway.
I just noticed there appears to be an egg in there that the shrimp have missed

It grows very well. What started out as snippings from a Tropica tub is now very large. It is in several parts of the tank mainly on the wooden hardscape.
@connorlindeman Yup. That's it. Floating Crystalwort is the name I recognise.
I have the Chihiros Vivid 2 overhead light and the addition to the green spectrum really brings it out to its best. A bit of extra red makes the Galaxy Rasboras (CPD's) and Chili Rasboras look amazing too. The Gold Tetras always look superb no matter what the lighting is set at.
I have seen fry at odd times but as I can't easily separate them they just get used as food. Now I can see eggs in the Crystalwort I'll do a daily inspection and see if I can remove some to a breeding net.

I used to think that Java Moss and Xmas Moss were nice but the Crystal wort is like comparing a Ferrari against a Ford pickup truck.
