My stats are fine. My tank size is 72l. It is a sliver mollie. Others seem fine. temp is right.

She at the topish of the tank. She has white fluff around her eye. I was temped to try and wash it off, but check first. Any help
thanks
tom

If it's fluffy looking it columnaris and you will need to treat the fish, can you issolate the fish.

What are your EXACT water stats? Dont take it personal, but I have seen too many people claim their stats are fine when they weren't, so i do make a point to ask what someones statats are. What are the other fish in the tank?

The mollie probably has columnaris, a bacterial infection. Wipeing off the fluff off won't really help. What it needs is an antibacterial medication. Also, isolate the mollie if possible because columnaris can be contagious and the meds avaliable in the UK aren't very strong, especially against columnaris.

Im not able to put her in a diff tank because there is no heater. I added a drop of chlorine control which says it helps gaurd fish from bacterial and fungal infection (dont have anything else)
PH 7
Nitrate -0
ammoania (not spelt right) 0
Tank has been running for year - so it cant be cycling.

Just dicovered my pleco has got bad fins- There like cuts but clean cuts (not jagged but smooth cuts)
I dont a 40% change just a min ago.

What now, My mum and dad are away for 2days meaning i cant get to my lfs :(

With my pleco i have not fed him for 3days. The lfs said the less you feed them, the more algea they eat, could this be why his fins are bad.
How did the bacterial infection entre my tank. Im stuck, Im i gussing, that i cant do anything, or can i do something

Number of ways, haven't got time to go into it got to go in a minute, i would research your algae eater, and that is aloud of crap the lfs told you, they need a varied diet of frozen foods and veg, and some need other things as well.
You will need to start treating fast as if its a bad strain of columnaris it can kill a fish in hours, plus most of the tank, i would read that link i left you.

How can i treat it, Its 10.38 at night and my mum and dad have gone away for 2 days meaning i cant get to a lfs. Is their anything i can do with items at home. :(

This is not looking good.

A water change, what meds do you have in the cuboard.

the only thing i have at the moment is chlorine control. Does boiled water kill (i heard kills germs)

I have done a 30% and i will do 30% again tommorow

No the boiled water won't do anything, turn temp down 2 degrees so the bacteria won't multiply so fast, just water changes till you can get meds.

You could try a salt bath on the affected fish, a jug of tank water, and add three teaspoons of salt, stir well till it disolves, let her have a bath for ten minutes, if she rolls over onto her back and acts weird remove her straight away, keep an eye on the temp in the jug.

Don't know your location for meds, the desease is called columnaris.

I live in gloster area if that helps. If i cant find any columnaris treatment then what, (what should i look out for)
I just turned the temp down. Its not looking to bad atm (probly change 2moz morning)
Il do anthor water change 2moz. I will TRY and buy treatments, if not then what.

P.S
Does columnaris kill plants or effect them in anyway
