Does anyone have any information (or experience) with this?

I'm dealing with worms that are Levamisole-resistant, and have to go with a *benzadole drug.

One possibility is "Fluke Tabs" which is said to be effective (Mebenzadole etc). The problem is that it is not supposed to be used with Scaleless Fish or Bottom Feeders. The fish is hillstream loaches are both.

Does anyone know anything about this or used this med? (The restriction may be in place because of Catfish...)

======

Are there any similar restrictions on Flubenol?

TIA for any information.

Mike, have you seen this thread of mine?

I used it with success (i.e. no adverse effects) whilst having all sorts of catfish, loaches & shrimp in the tank :good:

Wow, you're still dealing with this ? It's been months :crazy:

Bloo gave him your link.

Thank you you two,

Thanks, now I saw.

Not STILL but AGAIN. I seem to attract nematodes (4 times within a year).

I got relaxed with Levamisole treatments and did not anticipate a worm that is not affected by Levamisole...and to make it worse pretty hard to detect on necropsies, so it is a crisis situation now. Still need to find something that works.

I dosed a small infected tank with Fluke Tabs yesterday, in part to see if it will kill the fish (it has a second drug in it, which has no effect on worms, and is pretty bad one -- this is probably why warning.). Dosed both affected tanks with Fenbenzadole just now....this is supposed to work but I'm concerned if any of the drug really dissolved in the water. I don't know when Flubezodole will arrive...I'm thinking if it arrives, to treat with this too.

(Really wonder if using these two together will be an overdose, the molecules involved are pretty similar).

A pretty-much panic state here this being the worst I've seen yet, and this is a very long struggle ahead even in the best possible case.

Real big yuck.
