Flow For Co2

I have the internal filter in my Juwel Tank like this:

The pipe at the side, the angle of it points to the center of the glass at the front. (Juwel Trigon 190).

If my diffuser is in the bottom left corner, if I remove the pipe so the flow of the water is pushing directly above the diffuser but at the top of the tank, the co2 will be pushed arround the tank more?

Or shall I just get a power head?
