I have had an apple snail in my tank now for about a month. When I got home today the poor thing was floating and had got caught in the circulating water for the filter and was floating about!
I fished him out and tried to put him down in the calm part of the water on the other side of the tank, but he wouldnt sink. I am sure he is still alive as he had all his antenae waving about when he was floating but went back in his shell when I picked him up.
Has anyone else had this problem/ know what causes it/ how to fix it?
Any advice much appreciated.
