Hello

Could anyone please advise me on a good floating plant that would be suitable for my 2 pearl gouramis?

Thanks
Jack :)

I've asked a few questions like this and lots of people seem to prefer brazillian pennywort. I had it before and liked it alot but i got rid of it because i had a bad algae issue and it got on the plant and made the tank look bad. Theres also frogbit (apparently it is a nuisance), water sprite, wisteria, and probably alot more that i dont know of. Im sure someothers will give some input!

Thanks very much for the reply - will check out the plants you mentioned
Cheers
Jack

My gourami love large leaf floating plants. They'll hide and rest under this plastic one I have. But also for gourami I'd avoid floaters that are invasive and would cover the surface of the water, since they like to breath from the surface from time to time. Though it's easily avoidable by pulling some out every so often.

I also like Riccia.

Thanks for the advice guys - will check out those plants
Cheers
