I have recently set up my 3ft tropical tank and have 2 blue gouramis, 2 angels and 2 bristlenose catfish. Ammonia and nitrite levels are 0 and pH is 7.2. All fish appear healthy and are eating well and behaving normally. My only concern is one of the gourami's has a pink fleshy growth... quite small... at the base at one of its tendrils. It is not affecting it in any way but I am concerned about it in case it needs treating. Thanks for any advice forthcoming.

Better repost this in emergencies. My old moonlight gourami had a similar lump and died 2 weeks later
