Flare Problem?

Hi everyone.

For some weird reason my PK Male flares at everything...
Plants in his tank, Heater, Filter box, Food and even me when I waslk past.

He's almost always showing his tail off without flareing but whenever I walk past his tank he flares!

He hasn't got any stress bars etc and I checked his tank and it's not reflecting himself so I dunno whats wrong.

Like I said he almost always has his fins displayin which looks amazeing but I'm not sure if it's healthy?

Any advice?

My male is flaring at frozen blood worms ..... new food. And at plastic fish toys, and at my cat ... before hidding.
Don't know if it's normal.

For young fish its very normal for them to flare at every thing and any thing, its like a game. As for older fish i'm not sure why they would start to do it but if he doesn't look ill or stressed leave him to it, some males just like to show off

Yeah, the younger the fish is the more likely he will flare @ like anything.
I remember when one of my males, Puddles used to flare at a lot of things! Now he doesn't even bother, LOL! (he's over a yr old).
Anyway, maybe he's just a big flarer! I'm sure it's nothing to worry about as long as he's not stressed or sick.

I don't think it'll bother your fish's health, my Luka lived past 5 years and he falred at everything!

He looks so nice too when he flares.
I just worry about him alot cause he's my only male.

He's getting some frozen BW tonight hehe he looks forward to it Im sure of it hehe
