Five Banded Barbs

I just got these Five banded barbs and does anybody else have them? It said in the store they grow to around 8cm which is a really nice size for my 100 gallon since i have 12 of them, do they grow this big?

I have never seen them more than about 4cm and usually smaller. They are a lovely fish tho, peaceful sociable, no problems with them. Make sure you get a group of them and they will be happy as Larry.

The maximum length according to all reliable sources is up to 5 or 5.5 cm (50-55 mm).
