I have a moonlight gourami in my community tank. When I got him, his ventral fins were about the same length as the distance from him mouth to the start of his tail. I've had him for almost a year now and he's growing nicely but his ventral fins seem to be growing faster than the rest of him, they are getting on for 1.5x his body length and occasionally it seems as though his fins are getting in the way rather than helping him. On top of this, I also have a hi-fin peppered cory, and while I appreciate that their dorsal fin is much longer than the normal peppered cory, his seems to be growing at an alarming rate too. His fin goes up a long way, almost comically too large for his body. Will this matter or impede their swimming ability in any way? I don't know if it's normal to see this in some fish or if it's an environmental factor that I can control. Any ideas are appreciated
