On my Crown Tail betta the tips of it's back fins are curling.

They either make a complete circle and continue to flow or curl to the side - like a rollercoaster corkscrew.

Is this okay and won't need treatment or is it bad?

CT's do this allot. Its normally a sign that your betta needs some sun light. If he does get lots of sun then it could be to the PH of your water either way its nothin serious :good:

Yep agree with Devon,, one of mine has it . Was giving him a sunbathing hour in morning but now his tanks moved so he gets the early morning sun. Lack of vitamin D.

As far as i know its just the crown tails that seem to get the curly tails.

Its can effect other tail types but its quite a rare thing if it does. Its the weaker structure of the CT's fins that allows the curling at the ends, the have nothing in between the rays to keep them in place

The only real direcnt sunlight my room gets is the occasional glance off the neighbours window.
Is there a way to add more Vit D to it's diet or something to suplement it?
If he got more Vit D would they carry on begin being straight leavingthe curls there?
