Fishless Cycle Question

Hello everybody. I decided to fishless cycle my 10 gallon tank. I moved my two mystery snails out of the tank and added 4ppm of ammonia yesterday. The ammonia level is 4ppm today too. My question is will it hurt the cycle since there were already two snails in the tank? They weren't doing anything but staying in their shells so I moved them to my 1.5 gallon tank. The heater is at 84F. I do not have any seeded material either. The tank has been up for about 4 weeks.

I would just let it run with no fish for about 2 more weeks. Then check the water again

I can't see any reason why the previous presence of 2 snails would prevent a fishless cycle from working.

Yeh no harm in doing a fishless cycle. The snails won't have affected anything at all.

Just wait now until the ammonia drops and carry on like any other fishless cycle

I could see the issue if there was fish going into the tank in a fortnight, but there's not.

Please, please, please don't reply with anything 'leave it, check it, chuck 'em in' related.

Thanks for your help . I'll just continue like any other fishless cycle than. Just wanted to be sure .
