Fishkeeping Wishlist

I've been a successful fish keeper for years and things still go wrong for me. My latest problem was with fish tuberculosis. It wiped out everything.

A 200 - 500 gallon long complete set-up
All the plants I need to scape it, a gorgeous piece of bogwood like I used to collect in florida. :(
And whichever species of fish i decide to keep.
Definately a massive shoal of celestial danios. At least 1,000. droolssssssss
All enclosed in a nice fully planted greenhouse I can bask in whilst the outside temps drop below zero. :|

Not such a far fetched scheme, greenhouses are cheap to build and the tank would only have to have one viewing panel. :D
This may mean a divorce. :p

Changed my mind, this is a dream right?
The tank would have to be big enough to handle me swimming in it so I can play wif my new babies hehe.

The biggest tank I can get, probably something between 500-800gal. Put some huge lights on it, then densely plant it. Then add tons of fish all under 3" and possibly a few bigger plecs. That tank will be in the house, but I want a fish shed too.

Mine would have to be

1. Large marine fish only tank
2. Large reef tank
3. Plec only tank with lots of different species
4. Couple of tanks with puffers. There such great characters

ive always wanted a marine tank with just clown fish and anenomies in it:D I'd eaqually like an enormous planted bowfront full of various tetras, angel fish and discus :D

I want a tank full of discus.
I want another tank for a Mbuna setup.
I want another one with two FW stingrays.
I want all the money to pay for all that and the space to keep it. Along with the 55gal. comunity tank I already have.
Oh and some smaller breeding tanks to go with all those other tanks.

I have 2 dream tanks and I'm getting both of them. :p

Tank 1:
300-500gal depending on available space in new house. Will be custom so I can get it as short as safe so as to maximize the length and width (if that makes sense). Going with mbuna, haven't completely decided the stocking but I'm thinking: p.crabro, m.greshakei, p.acei, p.socolofi (albino), & l.trewavasae (Chilumba). I'm wanting to go with 12-15 of each species. I think it will be awesome to see the larger group dynamics.

Tank 2:
Not sure what size I'll need yet, but I'd like to have a single p.volitan as a "wet pet".

I would love a shop to show some interest in my endlers!!!!!! How many shops have endlers in these days!!!!!!!! Oh and a large room at the bottom of the garden with LOTS of big tanks in-- :good:

A HUGE tank for South American oddballs ie arowana, freshwater rays, tiger shovelnoses and mother of snails catfishes. With some panaque and pictus pims.
Could also do with my reef tank size being converted from litres to gallons, LOL

In dream terms, I'd love a large SW shark tank, a giant FW catfish tank (RTC and TSN et al) and a large amount of racking for keeping frogfish.

In reality, I am unlikely to have the room for the first and second, and anything large enough for RTC is large enough for SW sharks and rays. No contest there for me.

Strangely, I seem to gradually be acquiring the last, purely by dint of being unable to pass up a bargain on frogfish, and then worrying about where to house them later...

Room for a 100G or larger so I could have Oscars again with some other American Cichlids and a a larger Plec.

Can't do it until I buy my own house though :(

for my dad to set up his 230 gallon marine tank. he is going to be building it himself he has had many marine tanks it is going to be awsome o and a 300-400 gallon tank so i can do a natural looking african cichlid tank
