Fishing Season Is Open Again In The Goat Household...

Been collecting fry, not sure if they are Pearl Danios again or Yellowtail Congos!! Greta fun with a net, with these guys zooming in and out of the palnts near the water surface!!!

What they don't realise, poor things, is my net is the less of the two evils, as the juvenile and adult fish in the Rio are acting differently, as if they know there are new live snacks around...

Ive already been fishing but im in England so only caught 1 8LB pike and a 3LB perch and a few small dace and roach that i used as bait.

Well last nights "fishing expedition" of patience ended up with 11 fry and 3 unhatched eggs, that have all been put in the breeder net with the rapidly growing, one month old Pearl Danio fry (6 of them, one is already ~1.5cm!

).

Are the new "micro-fry" going to be probably safe with the older fry, or will they be regarded as food?
