FishForums.net Server Upgrade

We've just completed a server upgrade. That entailed a bit of downtime and a move to new, better/upgraded hardware. We hope this makes the site a bit snappier and faster. There might be some small slowdowns because are have to rebuild the search index after the move. This search index is being rebuilt right now.

If you notice anything broken please post in here and let us know. It went seemingly simple but sometimes the devil is in the details that you miss.

Something I noticed for the 1st time this morning, is the little green guy, on our avatars, showing when we are on line… not sure if that’s a new feature, or if I never noticed ( I’d like to think I was more observant ), but???

I never found that the site was not responsive before ?!?

But I want to give a shout out to the fact that Fishforums is hosting all media posted to a certain full extent, the cost is there for sure. Insuring that Integrity of posts remains with time and pictures are not lost is a feat in itself, and surely has a tremendous payload.

Many will not even host pictures...

And who want's only 12$ a year ?
