yes, you can pull them out using tweezers/pluckers. they are actually anchorworm eggs layed by the female(s).
the brand of aquarium salt i use is called "doc wellfish's aquarium salt." it should be sold at most pet stores. and wilder's right, you should probably add the salt once the medications are done.

The situation is very serious looking now.
Black moor - it's got TONS of these worms things jutting out of the skin and has lost all its colour, shrink in size and is at the bottom of the tank all day.
Gold fish - This also has TONS of these worms aouund the body. i tried pulling out a few but its tough to get all out. they keep growing.
Both look misrable...White tetra died samw way after getting all these worms on its body.
IMPORTANT - i am traveling out for two days. Can i put one of the plants inthe tank for food substitute?
I dont think these will live for long at this rate...
please advice any step to just reduce the torture they going through.
