Fish Traps

I dont fancy risking netting my fish and the idea so simply getting it in a box would be alot easier

Nope. On the net theres these traps for catching fish, there for fish that are too quick etc. Its apparently alot less stressful than netting a fish and alot easier so I was curious.

Why you wanting to catch the fish?

Yeah it is a lot less stressful.

Everyone I've talked to whose used them says they take ages to work, and sometimes they just don't. That's in reef tanks though.

For a 3" freshwater fish they are probably more effective. But I'd personally save my money and use a net/ice cream tub combination.

Why you wanting to catch the fish?

Yeah it is a lot less stressful.

Because its going in a new tank.

My other option is to guide it into a jug, just wondering if these traps were easier you see.
