fish to cool and fast flowing water

Don't worry about me getting mad lol... I was just talking about what I've seen I didn't say I was certain keeping them together is impossible or wrong or whatever. :) BUT there is no denying that the cichlids like higher temperatures than the lower prefferences of the hillstream loaches - so, as I said before, I (personaly) wouldn't risk putting them together though it is obviously possible. So, shure do it, keep them together, but watch them and make sure they aren't showing signs of weakened immune systems, distress, disease etc... If they do, you'll need to move them, if they don't, then great. :)

Ok, sylvia. Haven't noticed anything like that yet. They have been in same tank about an year now. Both have spawned.

Do you think some other of my tank would be better for borelliis? Possibilitys are: 90l tank, that's temp is almost 79-80F, other fishes are small rasboras and kuhlie/myersi loaches or
90l tank, temp. 77-79F, other fishes panda corys, silvertipped tetras, bristlenose and betta.

If they look happy where they are just leave them until something looks wrong. You don't want to stress them out for no reason if you don't have to move them.
