Fish Tank Water Change

Today I got out my tetra 1.5 gallon fish tank and put a betta in it. But how many water changes will i need to do? It has no filter and I use gallons of purified water to fill it. I also feed him flake food once a day.

Really, that's not a great home for a betta. You'll have to do multiple WC every day. I'd recommend you read this.

try to upgrade to 3-5 gallon

A bigger tank makes your life way easier also, the more water the more stable the parameters are, bigger is better in that respect

What does purified water mean? If it is distilled or RO water, then no fish can live in that for any period of time. It is devoid of many things a tank,bacteria and fish need.
