Fish Tank Rack Setup

Hey all

Yo its dom and i want to show you my latest project.

it house 4-5 10g on the top and 4 20g on the bottom built all for around 50-60 dollars
now just got to get the tank.
Also i am stocking the 10 gallon on top please give advice on what fish

Nice I have a similar setup but I used cinder blocks. I was too lazy to assemble a stand with wood plus I didn't have the right tools.
 
You will probably need support in the middle unless you want your tanks to break through the center.

I think do to the fact it is less than 6ft it is strong enough without middle support

It wouldnt be difficult
to add middle legs and support...u dont want it to warp...better safe than sorry

Should I just run two 2by4s under the middle of it?

You should have three additional legs..supporting the three upper long horizontal 2x4s..the rear leg should also be screwed into the lower long 2x4 to give that span additional support

This is one of the reasons I've always been scared of building one. I would never trust myself to build something strong enough.
 
I just use cinder blocks and wood planks.
