I'm not a shrimp expert, but I'd imagne it depends on the species. Probably about 5 shrimp. You could also go with 1 or 2 apple snails, since your tank is filtered. I think you'd prefer apple snails since they're more colorful, but there are other snails. Brigs should be colorful too, and I like malaysian trumpet snails... but it;s all up to you

Shrimp can be pretty cool to watch, especially when you have a group.

No gourami, small ones might be physically capable of living in there but they definately shouldn't. The inch-per-gallon rule should be taken as an idea, not a definite stocking rulel.

what kind of shrimp and how many is recomended? remember it is 2 gallons and taller rather then wider a little bit... i like the idea of shrimp tho just gotta find them now... I might have an african dwarf frog in there too,

WIth an african dwarf frog you can have maybe 5 shrimp IMO... they don't do much if anything on your bio-load...





and germ. i wasn't trying to be mean but if you guys would have kept going on and on it would have eventually confused the person whom was asking the question...
