Fish Selection For 65 Gallon Tank

I have made my mind up today to strip down my planted tank and set up a Malawi tank. The equipment will be sold to make funds available for ocean rock!! ( pH controller, CO2 needle valve, diffuser tower all JBL 18months old)

Can anyone advise me a to a selection of trio's which I can have? I fancy Lab trewavasae, Lab. fuelleboni,M. johanni, P. zebra, P. socolofi, Al. freibergi, Protomolas similis "Red Empress" I am concerned that they may be some incompatable fish here. I was led to believe that I need to crowd, to avoid aggression, is 24 about right for the tank size (48" x 20"x 24")?

I don't know to much about Malawi's but if i'm not misteaken your tank is about 100 gallons not 65.

I don't know to much about Malawi's but if i'm not misteaken your tank is about 100 gallons not 65.

Oh dear, sorry about that. It is 440 ltrs (88galls) but with the substrate I have in there, with bogwood, it came out around 66 galls when I filled it with RO water.

Sorry about that again, must get my facts right!!
