Hello

I have a 47" long, 18" Deep and 17" Wide Fish tank which has 2 fluval 4's and about 15 Guppy's, few dirty snails and 2 corydorys. Can I put my Terrapin in the same tank? He is only tiny at the moment about 1.5" I have heard all the stuff about them not getting on well but its a deep tank and the fish would be able to get away from the Terrapin if a domestic happened. I only have the 1Heater and the Terrapin is getting cold in and lonely...

So..?

Thanks

nope i really don't think you can

get another heater

Your Terrapin will go for the fish at night when they are resting. In the morning your tank will have a few less inhabitants. I learnt this lesson many moons ago when you could buy a Mexican Red Eared Terrapin for 50p each I put him/her in my tank with a little polystyrene raft for him/her to bask on. Incidentally I lost a shoal of cardinals in no time.
Regards
Colin
