Fish On Ebay?

Are you allowed to sell fish on eBay only I was quite shocked to see some beautiful Cichlids for sale!

Yes fish sales on Ebay are allowed. Not only Ebay but also on AquaBid, and my own Aquatic Auction site. The main concern is from people sending through Royal Mail.

Dont no about u guys but here in Australia selling live animals of any type on ebay is ILLEGAL!!!

Well people are doing it. I haven't seen people selling individual fish (like fish and nothing else), but like I've said a few posts up, some people sell them WITH their setup. For example, I was looking at a 4 foot setup yesterday someone was selling cos they were moving - they were selling the tank and stand, and EVERYTHING in it - gravel, plants, filters, etc AND the fish in it. Guess they had no one else who would take them. Nearly everyone who puts tank setups for sale are local area pickup only, so I guess it isn't really a big deal since there's no fish going in the post.

i wouldn't like to buy a fish on ebay unless i collected it from the seller that way i know no harm has come in transportation
