Fish Not Looking Too Good

Hi,
Could someone please help me with my poorly electric yellow cichlid. I first noticed this mark on his side yesterday, but since then it has got bigger and he has started to lose a bit of colour. The fish doesn’t seem to be affected too much ie. He’s feeding well, no problems with swimming etc.
As soon as I saw the mark yesterday I carried out a 30% water change; But I'm not too sure what the mark is and the best way to treat it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry about the poor quality photos.

I can see the pink patch does it look lumpy or like a cauliflower hard to tell in the pic.
Can you describe it in detail.

The mark looks pink and fleshly in the centre with a small amount of white towards the outer of the mark. On close inspection it looks like his scales are missing and it does look like it has a couliflower apperance.

Pink marks with circling of dead white skin around the edges is an ulcer.
But if its resembles a cauliflower you are dealing with a virus.
