With the new legislation coming into force on 1 November, does anyone know which meds will no longer be available?

I read on another thread that Flubenol is one of them. Are there any others?

Cheers

Ok. I'm bumping this again. I'm interested to find out what changes this new legislation imposes on us fishkeepers.

Anyone wish to comment / discuss??

What is the new legislation? I can't remember seeing anything in the Animal Welfare Act 2006 (yes I did read it all, and yes I am sad).

I have seen on another forum talk of a Small Animal exception for Flubenol 15. If you can find the law I can look into it.

Edit

Just found that The Medicines (Veterinary Drugs) (Pharmacy and Merchants' List) (Amendment) Order 1997 has Flubenol Premix and Flubenol KH Paste in a list of restricted sale itesm, but this came into force on 1 January 1998, so I assume is not the one you are talking about.

I can't remember the details exactly, but it is some kind of restriction on the sale of medications for fishkeeping. I seem to remember that shops would need to obtain a licence or something similar to sell some meds, and others would not be available at all. I think i may have read it in PFK magazine. I'll need to see if i can find it..................
