hi i went to my local fish shop the other day and saw a fish called a worm goby it was 6.95 (pounds) but it said they dig up a lot of sand also would they be ok with green chromis, maroon clown, sailfin tang, blue damsel and pink cheeked goby.and is it reef safe

They probably are similar to firefishes in temperament. Since they feed on tiny crustaceans according to the fishbase info, they should be reef safe.
 
hi it seems my memorys shot as i went to my local fish shop and they looked different to that it said they grow up to 30cm would this be okayy with my stocking as i also have two hermits a cleaner shrimp and a blue starfish also it said that they have been known to move lots of sand could this cause a rock fall as all my rock is on top of the sand.

Thats a pretty big fish, how big's your tank?

Furthermore, if your rocks are on the sand, yes that will cause a significant problem.
