I figure 4 or 5 total platies or guppies maybe. Not in a hurry as like other threads mention the selection is prett slim right now.

Get all males, or all females...livebearers like these breed prolifically, and soon, that tank could be overwhelmed with fry...females can come from the LFS already impregnated, as well...

Yep. used to raise guppies. Not sure yet what i will get. Nothing for a week or so probably. Will see who has what.

To be honest, 10 gallons is a bit on the small side for platies. I'd go for guppies or enders in a 10 gallon tank.
