Pictures 4 and 10 is a tiger shovelnose catfish, usually abbreviated to TSN. This is a top of the food chain open water predator that can grow to over 4 feet and will eat any fish up to around 2 feet in size.

Pictures 3 and 9 is a senegal bichir, these grow to around 12" and are predators of small fish and inverts.

Pictures 15, 17 and 23 is a ornate bichir, these grow to around 20 inches and are predators of smaller fish and inverts

The others are a black widow tetra, a redtailed black shark, some kind of barb, a chinese algea eater and an albino corydoras, but that is irrelevent since they are all going to be eaten very soon.

yeah, the big 1 has already eating several including rtbs. this is my little brothers tank, he just got it and his mate has pulled a fast one and gave him these fish because he no longer wanted them. there is 2 rtbs's, 2albino corys, 1 shovel nose, 1 algae eater, 1 spanner barb, 1 long fin black widow tetra, 1 big birchir, 1 smaller birchir.

so im at a loss at to what to do with them all. ?

could i sell the lot of them to lfs?

You could try, although they will probably rather give you minimal store credit than cash.

guy at lfs says he will take the bichir's and rtbs's and shovelnose, says he will give me a credit note. dont know how much, but i think this is best idea. didn't cost me anything so that aint so bad. what should i think about stocking in tank with left over fish?
