Fish Identification

Hi,
As my oscars reached 6" long, I advertised them on a local website and got an offer of a swap.
This woman has always wanted oscars and had a 7ft tank so I agreed and took them over there.
Thing is, I dont know what the fish are that she has given me so any ID's would be brill

Not sure on the first but the second is a frontosa and the 3rd is a jewel cichlid. Both are African cichlids.

I think the fist is a type of hap and kinzo is correct on the other 2!

The first fish is 'nimbochromis venustus' a cichlid from lake Malawi. Profile on all 3 below:

Because you have africans you may want to up your tank pH with crushed coral etc? Not knowing your stats though I am not sure...

Also, is there a 4th fish in there? Smaller blue one?

As they are from three different lakes they require different parameters, The venustus prefers a ph of around 8, the jewel around 7 and the frontosa nearer 9

Oh, showing my african cichlid ignorance there lol, I was assuming a pH of 8 would be desired....and as it happens pH 8 would be best for all on average...not the best situation though really...

Assuming the tank stats are that which suit Oscars (pH 6.5-7) the frontosa and venustus wouldn't be overly pleased I assume? Not sure how fussy a fish they are though...?

All my fish now live in a 6ft tank in the kitchen.

I have it stocked completely wrong but they all seem to be getting on for now (until I sell some on and continue with my original plan)

at the moment I have....

1x Plec
2x Convicts
2x Jewels
2x Frontosas
1x The first pic
4x Neons
2x Silver sharks
3x Firemouths
35-40x Mixed Malawis
1x Krib (cuz the others died )

P.S - I did try to catch the neons but after 3 hours of chasing them up and down I decided to risk it and they have lived in there for about a week now
