it is fairly easy to get a gold saum the hard one to get is the True GT or silver saums and most of it is due to location of these fish. last I knew Jeff Rapps had some of the true GTs that he was breeding and has on the occasion had some F1s up on his list.
2x female swordfish
3x kribensis ( I think they are all male as the grow longer than oval and biggest one is really aggressive against rest)
2x GT
2x skunk corys
the tank is 60l but i`m going to change that in not far future (depends on price) as male gt is really aggressive against female he seems to do anything else but look and chase for her
mate that tanks to small for the gt's.......
is he relentlassly chasing the female?thats not a good sign,,,,,gt's grow big mate and are aggressive cichlids to boot, you see theyve already muched one swordtail,do not buy any more fish, if i was you either concider rehoming the gt's or get a bigger tank, atleast 75us gallon tank<around 3oolitres or more
you have to know i have made hundreds of mistakes with cichlids, just ask anyone so i know
esp if they decide to breed everything else in the small tank will die
thats not good then, either there not in love or they could be of the same sex, looking at the piccys id say you couldnt tell difference,,,has the unlucky one been attacked in any way?
are you deffo upgrading cos it will have to be like tommorow, if not rehome them now, and when you upgrade then buy some more
have to rehome the aggresive one quickly before it kills the other
