I wondering if somebody can clarify whether my super red bn is in fact that. He has started getting black markings. Thanks ?

he’s definitely a bristlenose pleco. But I’m not sure what type I got sold him as a super red bristlenose

i think it is, but one with more black on it. it is pretty small right now so maybe it will grow up more colorful
