I agree, I don't see any lines down the side, but it doesn't look spotted to me, either.

My guess is C. reticulatus.
Another possiblity is C. sodalis, but the dorsal is only lightly marked, where your fish seems to have the pronounced blotch...may not be seeing that right.

You can see the first pic posted, especialy the stripes/spots on the tail. Just goes to show that there are a LOT of "spotted corys" and this could be one of at least 3 or 4 different ones.

lol, so many different versions.
I'll stick with the c. punctatus as it looks alot like it.
