Fish Id Please

I brought this fish 3 weeks ago and when i brought it i was told it was an "Uara Cichlid ", though i carnt seem to find no reference to this fish on the forums.

Was i told wrongly ?

how about shedding a little light on the subject?
the slight pattern I CAN see looks much like a Cichlasoma managuense, (jaguar, guapote)
their native to central america so check with that area perhaps.

don't think its a uaru, unless its a different morph, I used to keep them and they didn't look like that, mine where grey with a bit of black on them, looks like some sort of severum though not sure what though. really dark pic though,

Thats an Urau. The reson your not getting any posts up is because its slept wrongly, its Urau not Uara.
