Fish Id And Info?

So for the second time at my lfs I've seen a couple of catfish that are labeled "tiger synodontis". They look like little tiger corys...the thing is, when I look up tiger synodontis for their info and care nothing really comes up...like I would like to know how big they get, their water requirements, etc. I was looking for a few fish to put in my 20 gallon as one of my cories sadly passed away :c

That's not a common name I'm familiar with. Do you have a photo or a scientific name? Perhaps it's a hybrid syno.
