Fish For A Column Tank?

The foot print of these tanks is small. There is not much you would be able to fit in one. I don't know if you could put the plecos in it. And wouldn't the pressure as you get deeper hurt the fish?

Not sure about the pressure, but what about huge tanks that some people have? Custom made beasts that are sometimes bigger than 6' deep.

But yeah

I would still be concerned about the pressure in that tank. Wait, wouldn't bottom dwellers be more accustom to more pressure, and mid to top dwellers be accustomed to less? Is that why they atay in different strata, becaus ethey like different pressure?

iv got 2 clown plecs and they are only around 3-4 inches at the most the only problem is you wont see them much
is there any reason why you are getting a column tank because 1 with bettwe width would give you more options on stocking?
also my friends dad owns a 6ft one and he gets him son who is 14 to get inside it once a month and clean algae and gravel but he is getting too big to fit in it really

Yeah, I have a long tank already and have had loads of long tanks and would like something different. It would really only be for angles, and if they got to big or anything I could just move them.

Thanks for the replys guys

Column tanks don't give fish enough horizontal swimming space. Can't think of many fish that spend their time swimming vertically. Tank length (and surface area) is everything.
