Fish Food Art Project

hi, im in the last year at high school and im doing GSCE/B-tech art. for my front cover i get to design it how i want. im going to cut lots of pictures of fancy golfish out and stick them on as though they are going to eat the flake, that will be at the top of the page. i wanted to use real flake but does anyone now how i could stick it in my sketchbook with out it crumbling/falling off/smelling everywhere. thanks.

any other ideas for my sketchbook would be great, thanks.

Why not just get some coloured card/paper and stick that on? You could cut it small to look like flakes... same effect, no smell or crumbles.

pva glue. stick some on the page and sprinkle the flake on top, leave it a while and shake the excess off

When the glue is dry you could always put some glue over the flakes to stop them smelling
