No the meds won't harm them, flukes are killers like all parasites.
Whitespot would of shown its self by now.
If water quallity is good and they are flicking and rubbing alot it does point to flukes.

Sorry forgot some fish are funny with parasites meds so would have to look into a med thats suits your fish.

picked up general cure 4 alot of parasitic diseases and velvet and hole in head and gill worms and fish lice and anchor worms so hopefully this will work .. was supposed to get clown loaches on sat but came here instead today ive added med already to both tanks decided to put them in 90 gal

Make sure you could use the full dose with the fish you have as clown loaches are very funny with parasite meds.

i did use full dose eventhough my tank is 90 gal the guy told me better to use only 8 pills 1 pill per 10 gal so and do it every 2 days 2 doses and so far so good for them ... happy as happy can be and eating good so im praying they wont get ick at all and that i licked the plm this time and wont be adding no more fisy in that tank for sure i will be taking 2-4 of them paradise fish and move them into the 20 gal later in the summer in about 3 mths from now
