Was just wondering I have 4 different types of frozen food they are
Bloodworm
Rine shrimp
Daphnia
Mosquito larvae

I have mostly tetras in my tank was wondering how often should you use frozen food for them I use flakes mostly. Don't know weather to given them one of the frozen foods every second day are what...
If someone could help that would be great.

just mix it up. They will love the variety and its good for them.  I tend to use flake for a couple of days and then throw in some frozen on the 3rd day.  Rotate the frozen food and you fish will be happy.  If you find they dont really take to one then just stop using it and continue with the ones they like to eat.

I would feed frozen food no more than once, or possibly twice, a week. Although fish love it, it's not actually that nutritious, and can also have a laxative effect.

i agree....use the flakes 90% of the time....frozen foods are really a "treat meal"

frozen foods are kind of like a fast food hamburger and fries to us.....once in awhile is fine, but not on a regular basis

Ok thanks at the before I was just feeding bloodworm once a week an then flakes an pellets every second day. Should I change to feeding my fish everyday?

if it was my tank and i had the fish you describe i would feed flakes once a day, frozen once a week or maybe not at all

Well the fish I have is
20 cardinals
10 rummy nose
10 serpae tetra
3 Mickey Mouse platies
2 dennision barb small
4 oto cat fish
4 Sterbia corys
5 cherry shrimp
4 male guppies

Planning on getting 2 blue rams.
This will prob be better for you to say what to feed them.....

its hard to suggest feeding because it is dependant on alot of different factors....how well you maintain the tank and filters are a big factor.....some of my tanks i feed 3 times a day, other tanks every other day, etc etc

how big is the tank? what filters do you have?

my opinion might change after you give me that info.....but right now......

if you are maintaining the tank perfectly with regular water changes and maintainance then i would feed flakes twice a day, frozen every 7-10 days if u must.....all food should be consumed and gone after 2-3 mins.....if food is still present after 3 mins you are giving them too much

I have a 350litre aquarium.
I'm using a 2000ef pond solution external filter doing a water change every week of about 20 percent.
Cleaning the filter once every month.

i would increase the water change to 30-40% once a week......feed 1-2 times a day, maybe alternate days
